Attention Players, Members, Parents and Caregivers,

NEWS ALERT:

In light of recent events, and in line with recommendations handed down by the State and Federal Government and other sporting and educational bodies within NSW, the Leeton-Whitton Football-Netball Club Inc. has made the difficult decision to postpone all football and netball related events this week (March 16-23). This includes;

- Football and Netball Training

- Participation in South-West Youth Girls AFL competition play

- Thursday Night Meals

- Practice Matches

By suspending our club activities for this week, we will have additional time to receive further advice from our governing bodies regarding acceptable practices in the coming weeks. The AFL provided direction for last weekend and no doubt will provide further guidance in coming days. We will also consider the thoughts of Netball NSW when fashioning a club action plan in relation to COVID-19 Pandemic. Above all else, the welfare of our members and the broader Leeton and Whitton communities are at the forefront of our decision making.

It is intention of the Leeton-Whitton Football-Netball Club to still participate in all elements of the 2020 AFL Riverina Season when the time is appropriate. At this stage there is no need for refunds to be issued to registered participants.
